Location
The location is important In any music video. This presentation explains why, as well as why I chose these locations for my music video, and why they were important for my music video in particular.
Evaluation of final product
This is a presentation of my final music video product, answering the four questions:
- In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
- In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?
- How effective is the combination of your main product and ancillary texts?
- What have you learned from your audience feedback?
and finally;
- How did you use new media technologies in the Construction & Research, Planning and Evaluation stages?
These four questions are designed to find out how my piece compares to real pieces and how they've helped influence my work, how my product complied and defied convention, the research and planning I conducted, how I used audeince feedback to influence my video and how the technolgy I used helped shape my final product.
Presentation of initial ideas for my music video
This presentation shows in detail, why I chose this song, information about the band, the context of the song in relation to the album and what this sing represents. These factors greatly influence why my music video will feature some of the things it does, as well as helping people undertsand the personal touch in my music video.
Risk Assessment
In order to safetly film and perfrom in the area I wanted, first I had to ensure it was a safe area. A week prior to filming, I went to the area and identified any possible risks in the area - anything that may harm my safety or cause harm to anyone else. As I was filming on my own, this was a risk in itself, so a thorough risk assessment was a necessity.

Mood Board
I created a 'Mood Board' in order to gather ideas as to the themes and shots that I would later include in my music video, and the design of my album artwork. This is important because I compiled my mood board early on, which allowed a clear focus on which ideals I would revolve my film around. This mood board was helped from my other presentation in which I researched the conventions of the genre I'd chosen, from this, making my mood board was easier as I could extrapolate from the conventions of the bands, attitudes and videos of Post-hardcore genre.

The history of the music video
Before any filming of my music video, I researched the actual origins and develop of the music video. Since the beginning of films with sound in the 1920's, the development of music videos has continually adapted with modern technologies and music genres. The presentation explores these points.
